Dear Sigma Beta Club Members,

 

The Brothers of the Southeastern Regional Board of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. has established a scholarship fund of $500 to provide financial assistance to a Sigma Beta Club member who is graduating from high school in 2010. The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. encourage academic excellence and recognize student leadership and achievement among Sigma Beta Club members throughout the Region.

 

All Sigma Beta Club members that will be attending a community college or four year college are encouraged to apply. Please complete the application, available via the link below,  in its entirety and attach an official copy of your high school transcript. In addition, applicants are required to have two letters of recommendations. One recommendation letter must come from a alumni member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Please read the application for other items that are needed to be submitted with the application.

The Sigma Beta Club Scholarship Committee will be conducting interviews for scholarship applicants on Friday at the Regional Leadership Conference. All applicants will be notified of their interview time. The dress attire for the applicant’s interview is business attire. All applicants must be present at the Leadership Conference and participate in the interview in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

 

 I will announce the recipient of the first Southeastern Regional Sigma Beta Club Scholarship at the Leadership Awards Luncheon on Saturday March 27, 2010.
