Changing Lives, Through Service
On Saturday, March 27, 2010, the Southeastern Region of Phi Beta Sigma will honor our 33rd International President, the Honorable Brother Jimmy Hammock, with a formal reception. This reception, which is the signature event of our 2010 Southeastern Regional Conference, will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Knoxville Tennessee. We invite you to join the Phi Beta Sigma and Knoxville communities as we celebrate the service of this distinguished servant-leader.
Jimmy Hammock has faithfully served the Southeastern Region in numerous capacities—most significantly as the 13th Regional Director. He remains a faithful servant to the Morristown and Knoxville communities, serving in the following capacities: Board of Directors of Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, United Way of Hamblen County, Morristown College, Boys and Girls Club, Chamber of Commerce and Red Cross of Hamblen County.
We welcome you to support of this event through the following means: 1) attend and experience this grand occasion with us, 2) sponsor this event by purchasing a souvenir journal ad, and/or 2) joining the patron list in tribute to Bro. Hammock. Proceeds from this event will go towards Bro. Hammock’s endowment fund at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, as well as the Dudley E. Flood Education Foundation.
